‘Feed Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq narrative to people,’ Imran Khan reportedly says in latest audio leak

Another audio leak went viral on social media, featuring PTI chief Imran Khan, ex-human rights minister Shireen Mazari, and former planning minister Asad Uma where the former prime minister could be supposedly heard asking the leaders of his party to "mark" people like Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq before the vote of no confidence.

In the audio tape — the fourth tape in total and the third related to the cypher — the PTI chairman can be allegedly heard speaking about the US cypher and planning for the non-confidence vote in the National Assembly on Sunday. However, it is difficult to know if the conversation took place before April 3rd or 11th.

Feed the narrative of Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq into the people. The [people] going to the assembly to vote should be labeled as Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq,” Khan might have been overheard in the leaked audio tape.

This was the second audio leak in a day. The one who came to the foreground earlier, Khan was heard speaking alone, supposedly discussing horsetrading with an assistant.

The third audio recording mentioned a 48-hour period that corresponds to the Supreme Court order of April 7. The Supreme Court had ordered the Speaker of the National Assembly to vote on the motion no later than April 9.

The government set up a committee to look at the audio tapes that were leaked—concerning the officials and PTI—after consecutive sounds surfaced within a month.
