The coalition government has decided to dismiss the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja, Sources reported Wednesday, who was named during the term of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Prime Minister Shahbaz, who is also the chief patron of the PCB, is expected to propose two names to the Board of Governors for the next chairman of the Board, sources said.
According to reports, the Prime Minister is likely to appoint former PCB chief Najam Sethi and Shakil Sheikh.
However, earlier today, Raja had called PCB staff to say that he had received a “green signal” from the government to keep working.
