Kalat: Man arrested for dumping Iranian tomatoes off truck in protest against import
A man was arrested in the Kalat's Mangchar region of Balochistan for dumping several crates of Iranian tomatoes from a truck to protest the government's decision to import the vegetable.
The story came to the forefront after a video of the incident became viral on social media, showing an angry man throwing the crates of tomatoes on the ground, crushing and rendering them useless.

A number of people stood next to the truck and watched the spectacle. According to the media, in protest against Iran’s import, local landowners blocked the Quetta-Karachi national road and wasted thousands of kilograms of imported tomatoes.
According to the police, the man on the video has been detained and an investigation is underway.
