Nine killed, 12 injured in Khuzdar road crash
At least nine people lost their lives and 12 others suffered injuries when a passenger van clashed with a courier service vehicle on the RCD Highway on Tuesday in Balochistan's Khuzdar district.
According to the Levies officials, the unfortunate accident occurred near the Korak area of Baghbana, almost 25km from Khuzdar.
On the spot, four people were killed and 17 injured when the passenger van traveling from Totak, smashed into the courier vehicle coming from the opposite direction while taking a blind turn.

The officials of the Levies and rescue workers rushed to the site and shifted the bodies and injured to the Teaching Hospital Khuzdar, where five more people lost their precious lives.
“We have received nine bodies, including five women, and 12 injured,” hospital officials told media officials, adding that five critically injured people, including two women, were shifted to Karachi for treatment.
