No foreign conspiracy to overthrow PTI govt: NSC

The High-Level National Security Committee (NSC) on Friday concluded that based on the contributions of security agencies as well as the former ambassador of Pakistan to the US, No proof of a “foreign conspiracy” aimed at ousting former Prime Minister Imran Khan was found.

The meeting, however, reiterated the decisions of the last NSC meeting which was chaired by the former Prime Minister Imran.

The last meeting decided to register the formal protest with the US while terming the language used by an undiplomatic US official which amounted to “gross interference” in the internal affairs of Pakistan.

But Friday’s meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, came to the conclusion that no evidence had been found to support Imran Khan’s claim of a foreign conspiracy.
