Pakistan’s batsman Shan Masood got his name in the record books on Friday when he became the first Pakistani to score two consecutive double centuries in the county championship. The 32-year-old batsman represents Derbyshire County. He hit 219 out of 268 deliveries against Leicestershire on Friday to mark his second consecutive double century.
During the previous game, he scored 239 runs against Sussex. Masood was the first Pakistani batsman to score back-to-back 200 runs in two matches in the county championship.
