PM Shehbaz invites Saudi crown prince for official trip

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud (who is also known as MBS) accepted Monday Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s invitation for a state visit to Pakistan.

On Monday, Prime Minister Shehbaz had a telephone call with the Crown Prince and deputy prime minister of Saudi Arabia.

During the conversation, the Crown Prince congratulated the Premier and the people of Pakistan on the 75th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence. MBS also expressed his best wishes for the continuation of Pakistan’s progress, prosperity, and development.

Both leaders exchanged views on matters of common concern. They also reiterated their determination to strengthen the strong and long-standing links between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Prime Minister Shehbaz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also reviewed progress with respect to the decisions made by the two sides during the Prime Minister’s visit in April 2022. They agreed to speed up ongoing cooperation in the fields of investment, energy, and trade.

They agreed to accelerate the cooperation currently underway in the fields of investment, energy, and trade.

The Prime Minister also thanked MBS for the economic assistance provided by Saudi Arabia to Pakistan in difficult times.

He also passed on his sincere regards to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
