Power Fully Restored in Makran Region

Iran Resumes Electricity Supply through 132kV Transmission Lines

Quetta – Power supply from Iran through the 132kV Jiki Goor-Mand and 132kV Polan-Jiwani transmission lines was fully restored at 11 PM on Monday, according to Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO).

Normalization of Power Supply

QESCO reported that the power supply from both 132kV transmission lines from Iran is now back to normal.

Restoration of Grid Stations

As a result, electricity supply has been completely restored to the 132kV Mand, Tump, Turbat, Hoshab, Jiwani, Gwadar Door, Gwadar Deep Sea Port, New Gwadar International Airport, Pasni, and Ormara grid stations.

End of Load Shedding

With the quick restoration of power from Iran, the situation has normalized, leading to the immediate cessation of additional load shedding, according to QESCO.

Apology for Inconvenience

However, during the outage, QESCO apologized to the consumers in the Makran region for the inconvenience caused by the power disruption from Iran.
