In an exclusive interview for AAJ TV, the president stated that the cypher needs to be examined because it also has doubts, adding that he sent it to the Chief Justice of Pakistan for the same purpose.

He said he does not acknowledge that the PTI government was ousted by a US-backed conspiracy, but the cypher needs to be probed according to the former PM’s request.

With respect to the appointment of the new chief, he said, I think there should be broad consultation on the name of the [new] chief of the army. It would be better if the summary for the appointment reaches me after consultation.”
