In a recent event, the country is expected to experience rainfall and snowfall due to the arrival of a new western system, according to reports.
Media reports suggest that the country may witness downpours and snowfall across various locations as a result of the prediction of a new Western system. The system is expected to enter Iran through Zulfiqar Balochistan.
From October 16th to 21st, some areas of the country are expected to receive rainfall, while northern areas may experience snowfall.
Rainfall is also expected in the central upper Sindh region during this system, and the effects of this system will also be felt in southern Sindh. Karachi may experience light rainfall.
*Western Winds to Bring Rainfall and Snowfall Across Pakistan*
It is being reported that starting from the middle of October, a series of western winds is set to begin across Pakistan. These winds will be the cause of rainfall episodes with varying intensity and durations throughout the months of October (2 to 3 episodes), November (2 episodes), and December (3 to 4 episodes). There is a possibility of above-average rainfall this year, which may result in below-normal temperatures across the country.
Additionally, due to this system, the mountainous regions are expected to experience heavy snowfall, leading to prolonged periods of fog.
