The late Seth Abid’s daughter was gunned down on Saturday by her adopted son at her Muslim townhouse.
Farah Mazhar, 64, was living with her young adopted son Fahad and a daughter. She sustained a gunshot wound to the stomach and was brought to a nearby hospital by her daughter, but could not survive.
The victim was the mother of three adopted children—sons Fareed and Fahad and one daughter—while her husband Mazhar lived in the United States.
Police transferred the body to the mortuary for autopsy and recorded a murder case on Fareed’s complaint.
The police team also gathered forensic evidence and retrieved the murder weapon from the crime scene.
The police arrested Fahad and two of their minions and opened an inquiry. They also grilled Razia, a 40-year-old maid.
