Legendary former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar disclosed that he had received an offer to star in Bollywood’s Gangster movie. In an interview with a foreign media outlet, Shoaib Akhtar said he had been offered the lead role in the Indian film, adding that Imran Hashmi later played the role. ”I received an offer to act as Imran Hashmi in Gangster. I guess I should have made the movie,” says the 46-year-old. Likening himself to young pacers, the “Pindi Express” says they’re not like him, adding that they don’t have long hair and can’t bowl fast enough. “Fast bowling players don’t even hit the ball on the head, and I think fast bowling players should hurt the batsmen,” he noticed.
He said that Adam Gilchrist’s wicket in the 2002 test match is his favorite wicket over Rahul Dravid in Calcutta in 1999. In his days of cricket, Shoaib Akhtar described Saqlain Mushtaq as his best friend. I beat Saqlian through love. He has turned out to be the world’s best spinner,’ added Akhtar. He claimed he could deliver the ball at 145 kilometers per hour right now, but after knee surgery and three months of training. Akhtar holds the record for the fastest Bowl ever played in the history of cricket.
