Wahab Riaz welcomes another baby
Pakistan's cricket player and adviser to the Chief Minister of Sport and Youth of Punjab, Wahab Riaz, on Monday, announced the birth of a male baby and shared that the newborn was named after his deceased father.
On Twitter, the cricketer shared a touching message announcing the birth of the newborn and said his son would be called “Sikander” in remembrance of his deceased father.
Sharing a photo of his father, Riaz wrote to the microblogging website: “ALLAH has blessed me with a baby boy, Alhamdulillah. Once again Sikandar is back in my life. Sikandar has been and will always be a part of me since I started. Love u Abbu missing u the most.”
The cricket player’s love for his father has always been very evident. Earlier this month, he went on Instagram to share his love for his late father on the latter’s birthday.
He referred to his father as his inspiration: “My inspiration=mere pyare Abu. On his birthday, I’d like to thank him for whatever I’ve achieved so far, and what I’m today. It’s all because of his prayers. I hope I can be a good son at least (he was the best) and make him proud up there. Miss you Abu jan, prayers requested!”
Riaz has two lovely daughters, Eshal and Hoorain. He frequently shares pictures of his daughters.
