WhatsApp account of Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani hacked
Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani's WhatsApp account was hacked on Wednesday, which could take one week to restore.
The chairman requested the WhatsApp management via email to restore his account. Sanjrani was assured by the meta-owned instant messaging management team that the account has been monitored and that the data is completely secure. They also said they would do a thorough investigation.
The administration added that it could take them seven days to recover his WhatsApp account.
Earlier this week, PTI chief Imran Khan’s Instagram account was hacked for a short period and then restored.
While the account was hacked, the user posted a photo and a story related to Elon Musk and Bitcoin, however, they were deleted after restoration.
