Woman killed in landslide after two earthquakes Rattle Nepal
A woman was killed in a landslide owing to an earthquake in Nepal on Tuesday.
According to the police officials, the rescue workers found some human remains which indicated that the missing woman had died.
The police have said that no more casualties have been reported except for one woman in the landslide.
According to international media reports, 2 earthquakes of magnitude 6.3 and 5.3 occurred in Nepal’s Bajhang district, bordering India.
The temblors, centred in Talkot and Chainpur, struck at an interval of about 30 minutes.
The report states that many houses collapsed due to the intensity of the earthquake, due to which 16 people were also injured.
It should be noted that Nepal, a mountainous country, is often affected by earthquakes, and reconstruction work is still ongoing after the destruction of two major earthquakes in 2015.
Nepal was hit by two major earthquakes in 2015 that killed 9,000 people.
