An Iranian known as the "dirtiest man in the world" for not showering for decades, died at the age of 94, state media reported on Tuesday.
Amou Haji, who had not showered for over six decades and was a bachelor, died on Sunday in the village of Dejgah in the southern province of Fars, IRNA news agency reported.
Haji had avoided showering on the fear of “becoming sick”, the agency cited a local official as saying.
But “for the first time a few months ago, villagers took him to the washroom to wash up,” IRNA reported.
