Cellular networks to remain suspended in different districts of Balochistan on 9, 10 Muharram
The cellular networks will remain suspended on 9 and 10 Muharram in various sensitive districts of Balochistan whereas a ban was imposed on pillion riding in the entire province from August 6 to 16.
This decision was taken on Friday during a high-level meeting chaired by Mir Ziaullah Langove, Advisor to the Chief Minister for Internal and Tribal Affairs look into the public order situation in the province during the month of Muharram. Over 20,000 security personnel, including police and Levies officers, have been deployed throughout the province to ensure safety during Muharram while control rooms have been established at the level of provincial, divisions, and districts to ensure effective surveillance of Muharram processions.
