On Monday evening, a 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck various parts of Karachi, including Clifton Block 2, Lyari, Saddar, and I.I. Chundrigar Road. The tremors were felt at 6:36 PM local time, prompting residents to rush out of their homes in fear, reciting prayers.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake had a depth of 22 kilometers, with its epicenter located 15 kilometers northeast of Karachi.
This event marks the third low-intensity earthquake recorded in the city this year.
