Have Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik parted ways?
Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik, one of the most popular celebrity couples in South Asia, reportedly separated after twelve years of marriage.
“The Indian tennis sensation and her husband Pakistani cricket player put an end to their marriage and are co-parents of their son, Izhaan Mirza-Malik,” Gulf News reported.
The publication adds that it attempted to communicate with Sania’s management team, but refused to comment. Similarly, Geo News contacted Shoaib Malik to confirm the news, but he did not respond in spite of seeing the message.
There have been rumors about the sad news on social media over the past week. Internet users began to speculate that the couple is no longer together after Sania started posting photos with her son without labeling or mentioning her husband.
She also posted a number of sad, empowering quotes on Instagram that have added to the speculation. While Internet users are very sad about the development, the couple has yet to make an official announcement in this regard.
This is not the first time that such rumors have been spread, but it has already happened. In 2012, the couple was going through a rough patch and was almost out of business. But Shoaib and Sania subsequently resolved their problems and decided to stick together.
