Historic Moment in National Assembly of Pakistan: Three Brothers Take Seats Together.

A new record was set in the history of the National Assembly as three brothers became members of the same house.

This record was established on Friday when Syed Ali Qasim Gilani, the newly elected member of the National Assembly from the Pakistan People’s Party, took the oath.

His two brothers were already members of the National Assembly.

Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah administered the oath, with Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and other family members present in the guests’ gallery.

Syed Ali Qasim Gilani won the recent by-election from the NA-148 Multan-I constituency. This seat was vacated by Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.

Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani’s other two sons, Syed Ali Musa Gilani from NA-151 Multan-IV and Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani from NA-152 Multan-V, were already elected MNAs.

All three brothers are now elected members of the National Assembly.

In his speech after taking the oath, Syed Ali Qasim Gilani thanked Bilawal Bhutto, Asif Ali Zardari, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, and the youth of Multan.
