Hot and humid weather predicted in many parts of country: PMD

The Pakistan Meteorological Department indicated that the weather will remain warm and humid in most areas of the country on Monday.

According to the Met department, the monsoon system is expected to become more intense from 9 August.

Under the influence of this weather system, rainstorms with some mild (isolated heavy falls) are expected in Tharparker, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Tando Muhammad khan, Tando Allayar, Hyderabad, Matiari, Thatta, Sujawal, Sanghar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Khairpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Ghotki, Kashmore, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Dadu, Jamshoro and Kambar Shahdadkot, and Karachi division starting tomorrow.

According to weather forecasts shared by the Department, the fourth monsoon spell is expected to strengthen from August 9th to 13th.

Precipitation intensity will increase in the northeastern and southern districts of Balochistan as of August 10, which could trigger flash floods in the districts of Dadu, Jamshoro, and Kambar Shahdadkot.
