He was addressing a rally in Punjab’s Chishtian on Wednesday where a by-election is scheduled on 11 September.

The seat fell vacant following the ECP disqualified PML-N’s member of Punjab Assembly Kashif Mehmood over a fake degree.

Addressing the rally, Imran Khan said Chishtian was once regarded as the stronghold of PML-N. Now the nation has awoken and is with me, he declared.

Imran Khan said the PML-N had lost the last by election despite the rigging. He claimed that certain forces are trying to overthrow the PTI government in Punjab once more.

They’re using the looted money to buy votes and offer millions of rupees, he said. Furthermore, Mr. X and Mr. Y force people to change their loyalty. “I want to ask them, are you concerned for your country,” he asked.

He claimed they were trying to undermine the country’s largest political party. “Regardless of what you do, defeat is your fate,” he said.
