PTI chairman Imran Khan has criticized the government for the unprecedented rise in oil prices and announced a countrywide protest against it.
The former prime minister went on Twitter and started a new rant against the coalition government.
He said: “Imported govt has increased petroleum prices by 40% or Rs 60 per liter.
This will increase the burden on the public by Rs900 billion and a price hike in basic necessities. Plus, the Rs8 increase in electricity price will put the entire country into shock.
Expect inflation by 30% highest in 75 years.”
