Imran will be apprehended after bail expiration: Sanaullah

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah announced on Sunday that the former prime minister and chairman of PTI Imran Khan will be apprehended upon the expiry of his provisional bail.

In a statement released on Sunday, the interior minister said that he welcomed the return of Imran Khan to Islamabad and that he had been assured of security under the law.

”Imran Khan is the suspect in more than two dozen cases of arson and vandalism,” he added that he had also been booked in connection with armed attacks against the state.

Rana Sanaullah said that as soon as Imran Khan’s pre-arrest bail expires, the same officials gave him the security to arrest him.

He deplored the fact how that an inciter of violence could lead a party.

Imran Khan will preside over a party meeting today at his residence in Islamabad.
