Kohli falls for third golden duck in IPL
Virat Kohli went down on Sunday for his third golden duck this IPL season to prolong the serious collapse of the Indian superstar at-bat.
Opening the bat for the Bangalore Royal Challengers against the Hyderabad Sunrisers in Mumbai, Kohli launched the ball directly to the left mid-arm spinner Jagadeesha Suchith.
This was Kohli’s third layoff in the current IPL on the first ball, two of which were in successive matches last month.
The 33-year-old star batter and former Indian captain has scored just 216 runs in 12 games with just half a century.
Kohli has now failed to score one century in over 100 games in every format.
