O level results to announce today

The Cambridge International IGCSE and O level exams results will be announced on Thursday (today).

Cambridge International AS and A Level students already received their results last week on August 11 and now the turn of the younger O-level students. The exams took place in June.

The nervousness amongst the students was evident. They wanted to be fortunate on social media. Other than that, they asked their followers to wish them good luck as they expressed their fears of not expecting good grades in one feared subject or the other. The reason was clear: COVID-19.

As in the past two years, the pandemic has been a source of concern to everyone, particularly students.

But in spite of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, exams have been completed in virtually every country this year. And when exams could not be completed due to local COVID-19 restrictions, Cambridge International provided another assessment, noted by the Cambridge examiners. Cambridge also provided support to help students and teachers around the world adapt exam testing and other assessments to COVID-19 disruptions.

It is normal for O-level students to decide if they want to take the AS and A-level examinations after O-level or entry into any of the local colleges for intermediate.
