Petrol price decreased by 4 rupees and 74 paise per liter

The Ministry of Finance has lowered the petrol price by just 4 rupees and 74 paise per liter, disregarding the recommendation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The Ministry of Finance has also decreased the diesel price by only 3 rupees and 86 paise.

The new prices will be effective immediately.

According to the notification, the new price of petrol is set at 268 rupees and 36 paise per liter, and the new price of diesel is 270 rupees and 22 paise per liter.

According to the notification, after a reduction of 1 rupee and 87 paise, the new price of kerosene oil is 171 rupees and 61 paise, and after a reduction of 3 rupees and 88 paise, the new price of light diesel oil is 157 rupees and 29 paise per liter.

The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification for the new petroleum product prices for the next 15 days.

Previously, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had recommended a reduction of 15 rupees and 40 paise in the price of petrol.

Similarly, the Prime Minister had suggested a decrease of 7 rupees and 90 paise per liter in the price of diesel.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the government’s people-friendly policies have led to a significant reduction in inflation, bringing economic stability to the country.

On May 16, the government had also reduced the petrol price by more than 15 rupees.
