The police and workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) faced each other on Thursday morning at the place where the party arranged for a rally later in the day.

The police arrived to vacate the venue as they claimed the party was holding the rally without permission from the district administration.

The PTI workers at the site resisted the move and shouted slogans. This resulted in confrontations and the police used tear gas and batons to disperse the workers.
