These countries have the most smartphone
The country which uses the most smartphones is China because it has more than 950 million users of smartphones. This means that the Chinese market is larger than India, the USA and Indonesia combined, data on Statista.com revealed.
Another densely populated country, India, follows China on the list. Almost 493 million Indian people use smartphones.
The US has 274 million users and is in third place.
The other countries that make up the top 10 are:
4. Indonesia – 170 million smartphone users.
5. Brazil – 119 million users
6. Russia – 102 million users.
7. Japan – 83 million users.
8. Mexico – 75 million users.
9. Vietnam – 67 million users.
10. Germany – 66 million users.
Statista.com expects the number of users of smartphones to increase over time. In the U.S., the figure is estimated at 311.53 million by 2025.
The data also show that smartphone popularity has increased primarily since Apple launched its first iPhone in 2007.
The website reported that smartphones sold $409 billion between 2013 and 2020. Despite the challenges in 2021, the industry has experienced strong growth, and sales rose.
The android operating system primarily controls the world with an 85.9% market share.
