According to the federal authorities, the polio virus has been confirmed in the sewage water of Peshawar’s Shaheen Muslim Town. Polio virus has been found in 13 environmental samples in Peshawar so far this year.

On the other hand, polio virus has also been confirmed in the environmental samples of Dera Bugti area of ​​Balochistan province.
