Bank holiday

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will remain closed for public dealing on Friday (July 1) which will be observed as a bank holiday allowing the bank to shut down its accounts.

In a press release issued on Wednesday, the SBP said that all banks, DFIs, and microfinance banks (MFBs) will remain closed to public dealings on the date mentioned above. Bank, DFI, and BFM employees will come to the office, as usual, the statement added.
