A case was filed against BJP spokeswoman Nupur Sharma in Mumbai following her remarks on the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on a TV show.
A case was filed at the Pydhonia police station in Mumbai under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) following a complaint by Raza Academy a Sunni Barelvi organization of Indian Sunni Muslims, for her “remarks on the Holy Prophet SAW on a TV channel”.
Earlier Friday, Sharma said she had been threatened with death and rape on social media after a “so-called fact-finder” released a video of one of her recent debates on a TV channel about the Gyanvapi mosque affair.
