Dania Shah’s video message after Aamir Liaquat’s demise

Following the sudden death of the well-known televangelist and PTI lawmaker Aamir Liaquat Hussain, his third wife, Dania Shah, asked the Chief Minister of Punjab, Hamza Shahbaz, to allow her to attend the funeral of her late husband.

In a video message that appeared on social media, Dania cried and requested to “meet her husband for the last time”. She, however, asked the provincial government to “provide her security” so that she would be able to visit Karachi.

She added that the couple was on the verge of making up, adding that she had no idea that Hussain was going to “leave her behind” and say goodbye to the world.

Expressing her grief, Dania once again called on the CM Punjab to enable her to be part of the last rites of Hussain.

The PTI leader was found unconscious at his home in the Khudad colony in Karachi and was transferred to a private hospital.
