FBR’s Tajir Dost Scheme Attracts Over 23,000 Retailers
As of June 4, 2024, a grand total of 23,497 shopkeepers and retailers have enlisted in the Tajir Dost scheme
As per the data disclosed by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday, among the 23,497 registered retailers, Karachi accounts for 5,599, while Lahore boasts 7,297 registered shopkeepers.
In Islamabad, the tally stands at 2,153 registered retailers.
In Rawalpindi, a total of 3,067 shopkeepers have been registered.

Additionally, Quetta has 1,317 registered traders, while other smaller cities have contributed 2,027 retailers to bring the total registration count to 23,497, as per FBR data.
