Federal Board suddenly postpones Matric annual exams

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has decided to postpone final exams for matriculation due to the uncertain law and order situation in Islamabad.

According to the official notification issued by the FBISE, all annual examinations for the matriculation initially scheduled for 25 and 26 May have been deferred. FBISE will later announce the new dates of these deferred papers.

The FBISE also permitted students to appear in the final examination at their nearest examination centers in case they were unable to reach their designated examination centers around the Red Zone in Islamabad.

In a similar move, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi had also announced the postponement of the final exams scheduled on 25 May, Wednesday.
