Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Orders Comprehensive Investigation into 15 Fire Incidents in Margalla Forests and Bushes in a Single Day in Islamabad
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has taken notice of the fire incidents at 15 locations in the Margalla forests and bushes in Islamabad in a single day. He has ordered a comprehensive investigation into the matter and directed that First Investigation Reports (FIRs) be registered for the fire incidents.
In this regard, the Interior Minister contacted the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, instructing them to investigate whether the fires were set deliberately or occurred accidentally.
Naqvi further stated that an immediate committee should be formed to investigate the fires at the 15 locations in a single day.
Sources indicate that the Chief Commissioner and IG Islamabad have assigned the task to the relevant authorities.
