WhatsApp users are now able to respond to messages using emojis.
The application releases a new functionality that will enable users to react to messages using emojis, Mark Zuckerberg announced.
Zuckerberg, who is the founder and CEO of Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp, made an announcement through a Facebook post.
Users were initially able to choose from six emojis – such as Love, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Thank – to respond to messages.
The new feature will be accessible to WhatsApp users on Android, iOS, and desktop.
WhatsApp has been testing the functionality over the last few weeks with some beta testers getting quick access to the new functionality.
