SBP to issue Rs. 75 rupee note on the occasion of Pakistan’s 75th anniversary

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is planning to issue commemorative notes of Rs 75 to celebrate the 75th Independence Day of the country.

According to the details, the Cabinet has approved the design of the Rs. 75 banknotes and has directed the SBP to have the commemorative notes printed locally, which will likely be available to the public in August.

Previously, a special Rs. A memorial note was issued on August 13, 1997, to celebrate Pakistan’s 50th anniversary.

The SBP is making a concerted effort to commemorate Pakistan’s historic milestones by issuing commemorative coins. It also issued commemorative coins in honour of prominent figures and to mark various historical events.
