UBL Extends PKR 20,000,000,000 Finance Facility to Engro Fertilizers Limited
United Bank Limited (UBL) finalizes PKR 20 Billion financing deal with Engro Fertilizers Limited, strengthening ties between a major conglomerate and a top bank.
United Bank Limited (UBL) has successfully closed a bilateral finance arrangement worth PKR 20 Billion for Engro Fertilizers Limited, signifying a notable achievement in the mutually beneficial partnership between a prominent conglomerate and a premier financial institution.
The signing ceremony took place at the UBL Digital Lab in Karachi, with the participation of senior executives from both organizations. Among the attendees were Mr. Farooq Barkat Ali, the Group CFO of Engro Corporation, Mr. Imran Khalil, the CFO of Engro Fertilizers Ltd., Mr. Manzoor Hussain Zaidi, the Group Executive of Corporate and Investment Banking Group (CIBG) at UBL, Mr. Imran Sarwar, the Group Executive of Risk & Credit at UBL, and Ms. Nadia Tabassum, the Deputy Head of Corporate and Investment Banking Group at UBL.
During the event, Mr. Farooq Barkat Ali, the Group CFO of Engro Corporation, conveyed his gratitude for UBL’s swift execution of one of the most substantial bilateral financing deals ever conducted by a bank within an impressively short period.
