However, extremely weird and troubling things can sometimes happen. Recently, a man in India continued to film his wife as she tried to kill herself rather than help her.

As India Today explains, the incident occurred in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, where a woman named Shobita Gupta passed away after hanging herself from a ceiling fan.

While she was trying to commit suicide, her husband, identified as Sanjeev Gupta, videotaped the incident rather than stopping his wife or rushing to rescue her.

According to the report, the couple had been married for 4 years. As a result of the tragic incident, Sanjeev informed Shobita’s parents of what had taken place. They rushed to Sanjeev’s home but found the dead body of their daughter on the bed.

Police dispatched the victim’s body for an autopsy while the suspect, Sanjeev, was arrested. An investigation of this incident has been initiated.
