Father allegedly raped daughter
A man reportedly sexually assaulted his teenage daughter in the Sheenbagh neighborhood within the limits of the Attock police station on Wednesday.
The victim told the police that her father attacked her while her mother, three sisters, and brother were not at home. She stated that upon hearing her screams, her mother came home and rescued her.
When contacted, the district police spokesperson stated that a medical examination of the victim was carried out at the District Headquarters Hospital, which confirmed the attack. A case was filed against the suspect and a hunt was launched to apprehend him.
In addition, Attock police reunited a girl with her mother.
The 18-year-old had fled her home after arguing with her mother over a domestic problem in Pindigheb on 23 August. Later, her mother brought the case to the attention of the police who traced the girl through digital technology and reunited her with her mother.
