Kohli Central to India’s Dominance Over Pakistan

In the T20 World Cup, India has consistently outperformed Pakistan, with Virat Kohli being the pivotal player in these victories.

India has won six out of the seven World Cup matches against Pakistan, with Pakistan securing their lone win three years ago in Dubai.

Kohli has been a major obstacle for Pakistani bowlers, turning many of these encounters into battles between Pakistan and Kohli himself.

Kohli has scored 308 runs in five matches against Pakistan, including four fifties, and played a crucial role in India’s victories.

Notably, in Melbourne, despite Pakistan taking early wickets, Kohli’s innings led India to triumph.

He holds the unique distinction of being named Player of the Match in the World Cup seven times, three of which were against Pakistan (2012, 2016, 2022).

Although Kohli scored a half-century in 2021, Pakistan won that match.
