NEPRA announces Rs4.11 per unit reduction for K-Electric consumers
The National Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) approved on Friday the reduction of the unit price of electricity for K-Electric (KE) users.
According to the notification issued by Nepra, the authority reduced the electricity tariff by Rs 4.11 per unit as a result of the fuel charge adjustment (FCA) for July 2022.
The approved rate will be reported separately on electricity bills based on units charged to customers in July 2022.
This change will appear in the bills of September.
The reduction in the per unit price will not be applicable to the lifeline consumers of KE.
