Pakistan’s Impressive Record in ICC T20 World Cup

Pakistan’s performance in the ICC T20 World Cup has been remarkable, with appearances in the finals in 2007, 2009 (victory), and 2022.

Pakistan reached the semi-finals in 2010, 2012, and 2021.

Pakistan has played 47 matches in the World Cup so far, winning 28 of them, with a success rate of 60.63%.

Among Test-playing nations, only India (63.95), South Africa (62.5), and Australia (62.50) have a better success rate than Pakistan.

For the upcoming match, Pakistan’s team will be selected from the following fifteen players: Babar Azam (Captain), Abraar Ahmed, Azam Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, Saif Badar, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Usman Khan.

Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi were also part of the 2022 tournament.
